La Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP), en París, dedica una exposición a Laetitia Casta. La modelo es uno de los tesoros nacionales en un país que disfruta teniéndolos. El fotógrafo Dominique Isserman propuso a la francesa pasar tres días en las termas suizas de Vals y fotografiarla allí.

Jan Welters was born and raised in Holland. Passionate by the visual arts since he was very young, he studied at the St Joost Art School in Breda where he left in 1983 to start assisting different photographers, first in Amsterdam and later in New York where he lived until 1989.
He began his photographic career in Amsterdam, focusing on fashion photography. In 1992 he continued in Milan until definitely moving to Paris in 1995, where he now lives with his wife and children.
Over the years Jan has worked for a wide range of magazines, such as the Paris, German, Dutch, Spanish and American editions of Vogue, French and British Elle, Liberation Next, Mixte, Details, American GQ and D la Repubblica among others.
Recent advertising jobs include Balenciaga, Chaumet, H&M, Princesse Tam Tam, Sinequanone, Jil Sander Fragrance, Lancel, IKKS, Eres, Mango, l’Oreal, Zadig & Voltaire, Garnier, Vichy, Printemps and Bloomingdales.
Since 2003 he is working on a series of portraits using jeans by Superfine, the label of his partner Lucy Pinter. They also work on the lookbooks together.
Jan has photographed many celebrities such as Kristen Stewart, Marc Jacobs, Vanessa Paradis, Cameron Diaz, Emma Watson, Marion Cotillard, Carla Bruni, Laetitia Casta, Tilda Swinton, Courtney Love, Kylie Minogue, Sophie Marceau, Riccardo Tisci, Alber Elbaz, Sienna Miller, Milla Jovovich, Sheryl Cole, Freida Pinto, Melanie Laurent, Monica Bellucci and Jean Paul Gaulthier.
