Martin Scott Powell's photographs have captured the imagination of viewers since he began his career back in 2008. His images exhibit a simple yet emotionally elegant style that has the ability to expose beneath the surface of both the subject and image, recording and reflecting the world how he sees it.
Born (1980) and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Martin graduated from Edinburgh's Napier University with a First Class Honors degree in Photography and Film. He has since been awarded the University Medal for his outstanding achievement in the field of Photography.
His Fine Art work focuses on the human position within the context of rapidly changing landscapes and his images are held in private collections worldwide, including the Musee de l'Elysee, Lausanne, Switzerland.

A pesar de ser ciego de un ojo, ha conseguido publicar para revistas como Vogue, Rolling Stone, Newsweek y editar varios libros y catálogos.
